Summary of Work
The ideal candidate for the role of Sales Manager at Paras Defence & Space Technologies will have experience in the aerospace and defense industry, be able to handle important accounts, and develop new leads. Working with private enterprises in the industry, managing DRDO accounts, and having experience in sales generating are all necessary for this function.
Important Duties
- Generating Sales: Reach sales goals and increase income.
- Account Management: Key accounts such as DRDO (Bangalore), VRDE, IRDE, MDL, TASL, L&T, ASTRA, and BEL are part of the account management responsibilities.
- Lead Generation: Finding new business prospects in the defense and aerospace sector.
- Prototype to Manufacturing: Transform orders for prototypes into contracts for full-scale manufacturing.
- Localization & Retrofitting: Develop opportunities for localization and retrofitting by Indigenous Peoples.
- Market Analysis: Analyze the competition by keeping an eye on what they’re up to and how the market is changing.
- Customer Relationship Management: Managing client interactions from initial case generation to payment follow-ups.
- Technical Sales Support: Acquire knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the goods’ technical features; provide technical sales support.
Ideal Prospective Employee Profile
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering in the field of electronics, telecommunications, or instrumentation.
- Work History:
- Ideally with DRDO and PSUs, with a minimum of ten years of sales experience in the defense and aerospace industries.
- Experience:
- Sales in the defense industry
- Development of new business
- Sales strategies and operations for government agencies, PSUs, and DRDOs
