Recruitment Process :

When hiring new Assistant System Engineers, TCS uses a four-stage process:

  1. Written Round
  2. Technical Round
  3. Managerial Round
  4. HR Round

Written Round :

The Written Round is 90 minutes long and is divided into four parts.

(1)Quantitative Aptitude Test :

  • Twenty questions and time
  • Runtime: forty minutes
  • Critique: 1/3 (not including questions with stars)

Crucial Subjects:

  • Mathematics, Calculus, Ratio and Proportion, and Percentages
  • Time-Speed-Distance, Time and Work, and Profit and Loss
  • Calculus, Measurement, Means, Variations, and Combinations
  • Coding, Truth, Lie-based problems, Probability, Functions, and Series

📌 Practice Tests for Aptitude:

(2) Programming Language Exam

  • Ten to twelve multiple-choice questions
  • The duration is twenty minutes
  • We Will Go Over the ABCs of Computer Science and Programming

(3) Round Three: Coding

  • Question Type: Multiple Choice
  • Allocated Time: 20 minutes

(4) Compose an Email Using the Provided Keywords and Circumstances

  • Ten minutes is the duration

Vital Reminders:

  • All students are required to appear for Email Writing if their CGPA is 8.5 or above (or 80%).
  • Individuals who did not score more than 1000 in CodeVita Round 1 are eligible to go straight to the interview.

Technical Round :

Technical Interviews are extended to candidates who have successfully completed the Written Round. We will go over:

Fundamental Topics:

  • Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Networking, and Algorithms

Computer Code:

  • Coding questions (interviewees must demonstrate their ability to write code)

Topic-Related Inquiries:

  • We will ask candidates from disciplines other than computer science questions relevant to their experience

Brain Teasers:

  • Questions involving thinking and solving problems

Managerial Round :

This is an advanced version of the Technical Round that tests the candidate’s mettle under duress. Problems with situational awareness and cross-questioning are possible for candidates.

Notable Advice:

  • Remain calm and self-assured.
  • Provide reasons for your responses.
  • Respond even if you aren’t sure.

Please be advised that the performance of some applicants in the Technical Round may directly determine their advancement to the HR Round.

HR Round :

In the last phase, candidates are put to the test in terms of their communication abilities, flexibility, and personality.
