Summary of Work
An experienced Manager – EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) is being sought after by GE Aerospace for their Pune factory. Developing knowledge in a technical field, implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant workplace, and providing day-to-day EHS support are all part of this position’s responsibilities.
Important Duties
- Maintain compliance and safety at production sites and fixed facilities by providing EHS support.
- Apply knowledge of policy and strategy as well as any relevant technical skills to resolve safety issues.
- Acquire knowledge of critical business drivers and coordinate EHS activities with other groups to achieve goals.
- Use your judgment, in conjunction with your technical abilities and analytical thinking, to solve simple problems.
- Assist in the development of the team and provide informal guidance to new team members.
- Make well-informed decisions by working together with various internal sources.
Needed Skills
- Level of education: Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited university. An advanced diploma in industrial safety.
- Proven track record: 7–12 years of EHS management experience in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in Technical Areas: Environmental Health & Safety and Fixed Facilities with extensive expertise.
